ways to help

come to camp...

RFK has the best volunteers on the planet. We could not do what we do without the sacrificial love and support of the team that comes to camp to spend the week with our campers. Here are just a FEW examples of some roles that are available during the week of camp

  • Camp Counselor: Spend the entire week with 2 special campers. Help encourage them through activities, spend the week getting to know them, and HAVE FUN!

  • Camp Coach: Come to camp with fun group games planned for our group game time, waterfront time and more

  • Music Director: Learn our pre-made songs and dances to lead our volunteers and kids in exciting song/dance times throughout the day

  • Support Staff: Set up activities, relieve counselors for their breaks, clean up after events, give an encouraging word to others, fill in the need wherever it may be

  • Drama Team: Bring our curriculum to life by planning and performing our daily skits for our campers

  • Find our FULL list of Volunteer positions and descriptions HERE

* Must be 18 to be a camp counselor. SELECT 16 year olds may be considered for teen help.

So many

OR

help plan and organize camp events

  • Birthday Party Planner: Decorate, book, plan, and create our magical "Everyone's Birthday Party" A tradition that takes place at every RFK across the country!

  • Tea Party Team: This one will need a TEAM.  Plan and prepare for our one of a kind girls tea party night. The girlier, the glitterier...the BETTER

  • Event Help: Come in for a morning need, or an event need. Examples of these include birthday party support, pack-up crew on Friday morning, and camper registration on Monday

  • Fundraising specialist: If you know how to plan events and raise money for non profit organizations we could use your help!

There are so many ways to help prepare for our amazing week of camp. If you have a skill-you can use it to bless these kids! Here are a few examples of roles that we need outside of staying with us during the week of camp. There are many more- so please do not hesitate to reach out if you are interested in helping but don't see your "skill" on one of these lists!

I love being there for the kids! I love getting the opportunity to be Jesus to them! It is always a blast! I don't think there is a time I could ever bring myself not to come back for them.
